we hope you enjoy what we have to offer. Mt Beenak Orchids is situated in the picturesque Yarra Valley, Victoria, and specializes in cool growing orchids. We developed our own breeding lines over the past 25 years and draw on a life time of professional growing in the orchid industry dating back to the early sixties in England, followed by The Netherlands and in Australia since 1973.

A new group of Odontoglossum Intergeneric Clones (see Odonts) and a new list of Cymbidium mericlones Cymbidium and....Our new list of Masdevallia seedlings has been a long time coming but the bonus is stronger, larger plants. This list of 34 new seedlings is our most comprehensive yet. It is difficult getting seed from the more complex hybrids, so quantity is often not there. Lots of these crosses are few in number so don't leave it too long to order. We have made some simpler primary crosses too that we haven't seen made before. We have in this list large medium and small flower types. Some warmth tolerant crosses, not enough but they seem harder to do. After this list there will be a bit of a gap in seed pods caused by the hot summers 2 years ago. Still have some but not as many for sure. This is a great summer and autumn to buy new Masdevallias, cool and damp just perfect. So get amongst them and enjoy the success our customers have been having in shows and with awards around Australia and overseas.
