Oncidium Sultamyre 'Yellow River' x Wilsonara Ursula Isler 'Orange'

We have flowered both yellow and orange from this cross; the yellows follow the Sultamyre, a large skirted varicosum type yellow, the orange more like the Ursula Isler, smaller skirt, deeper colour.

Nice plant of this lovely species. Grows cool and shady and flowers freely in Spring. Dark green leaves make an attractive plant and the flowers are silvery white in long arching racemes.

Miniature tuffed growth plants that produce multitudes of flowers carried between the leaves. Green with spots of purple, a charmer.

Flowering size plants. Amber and red flowers carried high on the plant. A rare and lovely species. Often seen for sale at prices double this.

Porroglossum teaguei

A very charming real miniature that stands only 30mm or so high. Flowers are carried on slender tall stems above the foliage and are bright purple. Only discovered some several years back. These little Pleurothallis are very collectable and easy to grow.

Rangearis amaniensis

Another glorious African from Zimbabwe. The pretty fan shaped plants have sprays of pristine white blooms with elegant long spurs. We grew these from Orchid Foundation seed and they have taken years to reach this flowering size, but they are not hard to grow needing a frost free cool house.

Odontoglossum lindenii

Species Odonts. like these are not on many catalogues, least of all in large flowering size plants.Odm. lindenii is now probably called a Cyrtochilum it has big spikes which carry medium size 60-70mm blooms of brilliant golden yellow. They last and last in flower and grow like the proverbial weed.

This lovely bright yellow Stanhopea lacks the fine purple spots seen on the ordinary Stan. wardii. 7-8 flowers on the pendulous spikes with strong aromatic scent.

Ada aurantiaca Var. 'Nye Hill' AM/RHS

The green Ada is closely related to Brassia and is similar to grow. The bright orange flowers of aurantiaca makes it highly sought after. Min. temp. should be 5C or the leaves will mark.
