	ECO-OIL Great news, you don't need any poisonous sprays at all to control the common pests that effect orchids. It's true even two-spotted mite, mealy bug, scale and aphids all fully controllable with Eco-Oil. Simply spray, wetting leaves on both sides at the rate of 2 1/2 ml. per litre. No protective clothing needs to be worn you can even harvest crops on the same day if used on your vegetables. Application must be regular not less than every 4 weeks to be effective. As it is easy to apply and pleasant this is not a chore. It even breaks down on the leaves and is absorbed as Nitrogen for an extra bonus feed. You should not spray on very hot days but burning of plants is not a problem. Due to the physical modes of action of Eco-Oil the potential for resistance from overuse of the product will not occur. We have used it for 2 years with no problems and provided regular applications are made no insect problems have been encountered.

There are several other products for orchids available from Organic Crop Protectants such as Eco-Rose an organic fungicide which you can mix with Eco-Oil. Also CWeed and Aminogro stimulant fertilizers that make plants stronger with greater disease resistance, better and stronger flowers with more colour.
